¿How RV Lite was born?
Our adventure started back in 2020 when COVID hit our lives… Yes! It may sound kind of weird- I know that- but I have to admit, it was a blessing that the pandemic brought to our lives.
We are a family of 6, including 3 kids, the oldest who is 9 and 7 year old twins, plus Robin our sweet Yorkie. Our house is full of energy all the time. Leo, my husband and I are always looking for fun things to do with the kids, who are very active. Playing sports and enjoying outdoor activities like barbecuing in our backyard and walking or biking around the neighborhood are just examples of our routine on weekends. Our kids have been raised enjoying the outdoors and mostly away from video games and screens. So anyways, to make this long story short…when we saw ourselves forced to stay at home because of COVID , Leo came up with the idea of going camping as a way of getting out of the house while social distancing. This was when our Crazy Family Adventures started…
At the beginning, I must confess, I wasn’t sure about it , I was reluctant to the idea…camping in a camper, trailer, tent, or whatever else, it was something that I couldn’t understand… Why would we want to go on a vacation where we would have to sleep, cook, shower, etc. without the comfort of our own house? However, the decision was already made when Leo said, “Let’s get a camper, just to try it”.
It’s been 2 years already, making everlasting memories for our family. All the memories we’ve made, surpass the negative feeling I once had towards camping. We’ve been in so many beautiful places, not only enjoying and exploring nature, but also meeting and socializing with other people at every campground. It is amazing how many times we have said WOW did you see that? Or this is so cool! Not to mention that our kids have been exposed to many different experiences from fishing, kayaking, skiing, biking, hiking, horseback riding and even enjoy the Disney Campground !!!
At the end, we realized that it was the best decision we have ever made. Camping in our RV has brought so much joy to our family giving us the opportunity to spend quality time together without the distractions of everyday life…and actually, it has become our cozy home away from home. Since then, we are always looking for the next break we have to start planning and mapping our route for our next adventure.
Finally, we decided to share our passion with others, providing equipments that allow people to enjoy the great outdoor as well. We began this journey offering RV trailers that can be towed by most vehicles. Our trailers have been traveling around Texas, Colorado, Oklahoma, and New Mexico, just to mention a few.
It is actually a great way to see new places and take a break from the routine.
